Drug Endangered Children’s Program – In this video, Ms. Searcy discusses how the Drug Endangered Children’s Program has created a multi-agency partnership and assisted the Methamphetamine initiative in accomplishing system wide change in Utah. Ms. Searcy further discuses how the project combines co0mprehensive problem oriented policing strategies in the areas of law enforcement, prosecution, judicial, child protection, substance abuse treatment, medical, and public awareness. Finally, Ms. Searcy highlights the Project’s accomplishments which include; a nationally recognized drug endangered children’s program, regulations for the clean-up of chemically contaminated properties, increased law enforcement and prosecution efforts and cutting edge substance abuse treatment services.
